About St. Andrew’s Church

The parish of St. Andrews was constituted in about 1750 from St. Andrew, St. Mark, St. Peter, St. Anne. Construction started in 1832, it opened for public worship in 1834 but was not completed until 1837

Saint Andrew Parish Church has played a significant role in Irish history. The church has been associated with many notable figures, including Irish revolutionaries and literary figures. Its location in the heart of Dublin has made it a witness to significant historical events.
